How to add Google Analytics 4 to a Webflow site
Connect GA4 to Webflow with the built-in Google Analytics setting, or with custom code. Paste your G- Measurement ID, publish, and check Realtime.
Webflow has a built-in Google Analytics setting: open Site settings → Integrations, paste your GA4 Measurement ID (G-…) into Google Analytics, save and publish. No code needed.
Before you start
Create a GA4 property and web stream, and copy its Measurement ID. How.
Add GA4 with the built-in setting
In Webflow, open your site's Site settings.
Go to Integrations and find Google Analytics.
Paste your Measurement ID (it starts with G-) and choose Save changes.
Publish your site. The tag is added to the published site.
Or: custom code
If you need the full Google tag (for example, to add Consent Mode), paste it in Site settings → Custom code → Head code instead, and leave the built-in field empty so the tag isn't loaded twice. Custom code needs a paid site plan.
Or: Google's site tools app
Webflow also has an official Google site tools app that connects GA4, Tag Manager and Search Console, and shows some numbers inside Webflow. Use either the app or the Measurement ID field, not both.
Check it works
Open your published site and GA4's Realtime overview. More ways to check.
